In the link above, Obama states that he is confident that the conservative justices on the Supreme Court would not strike down the individual mandate. This may be a case of tweaking the referees, like Phil Jackson seemed to do every time the playoffs rolled around. However, the more likely outcome is that they WILL strike down the law, not on a legal basis, but because of political concerns. The conservative cause is a revolutionary power, as is intent on remaking the nation in its own myopic vision. You think they wouldn't overturn any law if it wouldn't further their agenda? I have two words: Citizens United. They already have.
